Rockstar Games Announces GTA 6 (VI) Trailer
On the 8th of November 2023, today, Rockstar Games announced on their official Twitter page (X.com) that a brand new release of the Grand Theft Auto series is upcoming and its trailer is coming out extremely soon! They have published a number of posts regarding their 25th anniversary coming up this December and have thanked the community of players who have stuck around for all of this time.
Their initial pinned post was instantly seen by the community and it quickly got over 300k+ likes in less than 4 hours from the time it was posted. This is not the only information that Rockstar Games has posted recently, as today they have also replied to their initial post with a number of comments that talk about their evolution in the gaming market and also the release date for the trailer of the next Grand Theft Auto game in their franchise. We believe that it will obviously be the long-awaited GTA 6.
This was the reply about their evolution in the gaming market. Founded in 1998, Rockstar Games always made great titles that impressed players and gave them hours over hours of fun and amazing memories to hold for many years to come! This tweet got over 90,000 likes in less than 4 hours, over 6 million views, and a massive 5.8k retweets which are expected numbers for a message from Rockstar Games. They have earned the popularity of announcing their future releases in different teasers without directly mentioning what will be upcoming. In the Happy Moon Festival on GTA Online, Rockstar Games has tweeted this image that shows “VI” from the Vinewood sign, lit up. The other letters from the Vinewood sign were either covered or darkened.
There is one comment from their initial post about their 25th anniversary that stands out completely. The one where they talk about the long-awaited entry in the Grand Theft Auto game series franchise. They haven’t clearly mentioned that it is GTA 6, but it is quite obvious that is the case as well as from the leaks that happened in February of 2023. It is a personal message from Sam Houser where it is mentioned that in early December of 2023, Rockstar Games will release the trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto game in the series. This moment was a surprise for everyone and nobody expected such a message from Rockstar Games today especially after October has passed. It is known that Rockstar Games usually releases trailer and teasers in October and that has happened with most of the Grand Theft Auto games from the franchise. This tweet Received over 69 million views, almost a million likes, 370k+ retweets, and over 40,000 comments in less than 4 hours which is one of the most interacted tweets in Twitter’s history (now X.com). Now gamers wait for December to come like a Christmas gift, and we also look forward to seeing the brand-new GTA trailer.
We speculate that this will be the last and final entry from Rockstar Games in the Grand Theft Auto series. Although the hype will most likely never end, there will be no need for a new title after GTA 6, and probably, only updates will come as support for GTA 5 will end too, leaving Grand Theft Auto 6 as the only available online game. We believe that GTA Online will move from Grand Theft Auto 5 to GTA 6 after it is fully released to both consoles and PCs alike.
